As I've heavily criticized iTunes 7 when it first came out (for its super bugs), I must throw up some nice words regarding iTunes 8. Even though Apple software tend to be on the buggy side around the first stable releases, iTunes 8, so far, has been working perfectly without crashes. And I'm lovin' it!

So gold star for Apple, now all I need is a piece of the new nano / Touch cake...

I've been playing with Gran Turismo 4 recently. It's neat, and there is a spiffy photo mode in it as well. It's surprisingly robust, so while sir autopilot is winning the 24 hour-long Nürburgring endurance event for me, let's spam my blog with some photos! Cheers for automobiles!

Sadly I haven't really been able to draw many stuff recently, since the driving lessons I've been taking are ~~driving me crazy lol~~ time, effort and calorie consuming. I guess.

Anyway, I've set up a new Windows virtual machine on my Mac (the previous one kinda... died, you know how Windows works), thus SAI is back from the graveyard of expired trial software, too. Just owsome.

Since not too long ago I've put another diamond on the crown of my increidble Apple Fanboyness by pruchasing a Nike + iPod running kit - even though no dedicated Nike+ Running Shoe, because oh god they have some surprising price tags - it was high time for me to start running! I really need to get in shape, haha.

Today I finally had some spare time to run, I set off for some jogging on Margaret Island - but alas, I forgot my metro ticket at home, so I only got as far as the entrance of the underground train. Oh well, I ran to home from there, so the day was saved.

Cool thing I've realised after getting home, that the Nike+ website you upload your workout data is pretty awesome and complex. THERE ARE EVEN COPYPASTA WIDGETS THERE. So look at the sidebar, and welcome another piece of my e-penis.

You know those spiffy sites and blogs that sport all of these fancy "web 2.0" graphic elements? Fruity colours, glossy buttons, and wallpaper-like background patterns?

Just found a neat tool to make mock-ups of the latter: go visit the tiled backgrounds designer. I'm personally fan of these nowadays-trendy elements of web design, so I played with this generator for a while.

Now all I need to do is making my very own patterns in Photoshop, and apply them on some site designs of mine.

Okay, I know I've already said it not long ago, but I'm gonna resurrect this blog. I've been thinking about making a "picture-posts only" blog about my skethces, but to say the honest, no idea how that would work out...

So I'm still sitting pondering about this, but in any case, a new, unique blog design is coming!

Until then, I'm trying to post some sketches and shorter articles about various stuff.

The new design is somewhat ready - even though I think it still needs something. Something extravaganza. The current main problem is, optimizing the html code for the Blogger engine is a bit confusing at first, so I've been procrastinating that step for a while.

This new design is not going to be shot up until Firefox 3 is out of beta, anyway - it looks retarded under Firefox 2. Which is actually good news from an aspect, this means the guys at Mozilla really work hard to imprive the Gecko engine of their browser, apparently!

So in the meantime, I'm back blogging here and dumping some sketches from today on.

PicLens is a handy Firefox extension that makes browsing image collections easier, and more spectacular! DeviantArt galleries were never so accessible and spiffy before. Here's my devWatch in browser:

Totally awesome little extension, makes browsing deviantArt a bit more pleasant - everybody should give it a try. It's also compatible with Google Images, Flickr, and many more, popular image hosting sites.

It's an open secret, that even though I'm an OS X user, I have to use Windows sometimes. More precisely at times I want to draw, since there is no openCanvas for Mac (portalgraphics, you bitch), and I fail at Photoshop, and hate Painter.

But Windows dies. Way too easily. Mine died yesterday, so instead of wasting my time finding the problem that makes Microsoft's masterpiece on my machine all dizzy, I just completely erase and reinstall it. At least I have a romantic programme for tonight!

I just wanted to work a bit on some of my trades and commissions, but Windows went all weird and stuff - you know how that could work. Times like this really make me want to have oC for Mac OS X. It would make my life a lot easier, I only use Win for oCing, really.
